Hey there! In September 2022, I took the leap and submitted my resume to the Midland Daily News. I grew up in Midland and always aspired to be a writer. While I was in eighth grade, I delivered Midland Daily newspapers door to door for a paycheck. That was a different challenge, but I still had deadlines.
As a freelance writer, MDN will send me assignments on a monthly basis. I am interested in all different types of stories that range from the artsy, creative side of my brain to the nerdy, science other side of my brain.
I appreciate you for already being a subscriber to my writing newsletter! I will do my best to share articles I’ve written the previous month whether it was published on my website or in the newspaper.

Novel Updates
August 2022, I started writing “I’ll Stand Up For You” a women’s fiction novel that is LOL funny with spicy romance stirred in. I currently have 12,062 words written and proclaimed this as my 2022 NaNoWriMo project - the goal is to write 50K words in November.
“Mandy & Mia” is currently in a lull. While I have amazing feedback from my alpha readers, I have yet to begin editing this women’s fiction novel. There are a lot of holes and *gasp* an ending to finish, but it’s still gaining votes for publication as a book idea on SOOP.
